A number of new developments have either recently opened in and around the city or will soon be opening their doors to new tenants and owners. Here is a look at a few that you might want to consider when looking for a place to live in NYC.

Common Herkimer

A project completed in partnership between real estate firm Adam America and co-living startup Common, Common Herkimer offers space for 18 residents with shared apartments starting at $1,475 per month. It also boasts a number of common areas, including a den and a study. Common Herkimer is located at 70 Herkimer Street in Brooklyn.

38 Sixth Avenue

Boasting 303 affordable apartments within a rent-stabilized building, 38 Sixth Avenue offers studio through three-bedroom units ranging in price from $548 to $3,716 per month for those earning up to $173,000 per year. Amenities include a pet-grooming station, a gym, a game room on each floor and a yoga studio.

Greenpoint

Located at 21 India Street, The Greenpoint is a collaboration between Palin Enterprises, Mack Real Esate Group and Urban Development Partners. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects, the 400-foot tall building will boast 463 apartments. 95 of these units will be condos while the 368 rentals will range in size from studio to three-bedroom units. The development will also boast 12,000 square feet of open space as well as 30,000 square feet of amenities that are yet to be revealed.

Jersey City Urby

Developed by Ironstate Development and Roseland Residential Trust and standing at 69 stories, Jersey City Urby is one of the tallest towers in New Jersey. The development features 762 studio through two-bedroom units ranging in price from $2,000 to $3,400 per month. Jersey City Urby is located at 200 Greene Street in Jersey City.

22 Bond Street

Developed by Richport Group and Second Development Services, 22 Bond Street is an 11-story project offering just six three-bedroom apartments with prices starting at $8.95 million. The building also features a 2,500-square-foot interior courtyard that was designed by Future Green Studio.

535 Carlton Avenue

Designed by COOKFOX, 535 Carlton Avenue features affordable housing studio through bed-room units ranging in price from $532 to $3,695 per month. Residents enjoy access to a number of amenities, including a kids’ playroom, a gym and a residents’ lounge. Pacific Park, which is Brooklyn’s newest park, is also located nearby.

The Ellipse

Designed by Miamia-based Arquitectonica, the 41-story Ellipse features 381 studio through three-bedroom rentals ranging in price from $2,600 to $5,300 per month. A few four-bedroom and penthouse-style apartments will also be available, though pricing has not yet been made public for these units. Each of the units within the development features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, personal climate control systems and en suite washers and dryers. The Ellipse is located at 25 Park Ln S in Jersey City.

House 39

Located at 225 East 39th Street and designed by Handel Architects, the 36-story House 39 offers 297 studio through three-bedroom units starting at $3,115 per month. 75 of the units have been designated as affordable and have been allocated through a lottery. Developed by Fisher Brothers, the building is LEED-certified and boasts interiors from Rockwell Group. The amenity floor, which is known as Club Level, features a conference center, a library, a catering kitchen, personal workstations and a game room.
